About me
Danny Cobbin is a dedicated Denver-based certified 500-hour yoga instructor and coach working at the intersection of yoga, functional movement, and personal development. He works with people who are already capable—athletes, artists, and professionals—but feel like something in their system isn’t fully integrated or expressed.
His focus is on helping people build a clearer relationship with their body and attention, so movement becomes more honest, efficient, and usable in real life—not just something that happens on a mat. As our bodies age, they need more than just strength or flexibility in isolation—they need all of it at once: strength, control, mobility, and awareness working together. Danny’s work draws from that understanding, weaving yoga practice with principles from functional movement training.Danny’s approach isn’t about fixing people. It’s about helping them notice what they’re already doing, what they’re avoiding, and where they have more capacity than they think. From there, change tends to be more practical than dramatic.
Off the mat, he’s a student of training, philosophy, and long-term human development. He tends to view mistakes less as problems and more as feedback—useful information about how someone is organizing themselves in real time. The goal of his work is simple: more clarity in the body, more ownership in action, and a more direct experience of your own capacity in everyday life.
