About me
Vinita Mundluru is an Indo-American multidisciplinary artist, E-RYT 500, and devoted student of the practices she teaches. With over 20 years performing Bharatanatyam, 4,000+ hours of teaching experience, and seven led 200-hour teacher trainings, she brings a depth of lineage and craft that is rare in any room.
Her mentors include Dr. Vasant Lad, pioneer of Ayurveda in the West, and Smt. Shalini Varghese, her dance Guru since age 11. That foundation shows in everything she does — not as authority, but as aliveness. Her work lives at the intersection of Yoga, Ayurveda, and sacred art.
She founded Kutuhala Yoga Shala & School, a homestead rooted in Sanskrit studies and nature-based learning, and Shakti Sankalpa, an international Yoga and Art Academy devoted to returning women to their creative birthright. She leads students through 200-hour teacher trainings at Yoga Center of Denver, where philosophy is not a unit to be covered but a lived experience to be expressed. Her students have described the spaces she creates as spaces that come alive.
