Yoga for Your Dosha
Sunday September 13, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am MDT
Stop guessing which yoga style your body needs. Hosted against the natural elements of the Creek Garden, this 60-minute experiential workshop introduces the practical science of Āyurveda to help you customize a truly supportive daily practice.

The Doṣic Framework We Will Explore:
  • Vata (Air & Ether): For the creative, intuitive, and fast-moving mind that requires grounding and stability.
  • Pitta (Fire & Water): For the driven, intellectual, and high-achieving spirit that requires cooling and spaciousness.
  • Kapha (Earth & Water): For the steady, thorough, and solid body that requires stimulating movement and heat.
  • The Takeaway: Participate in three short, distinct movement sequences to physically feel the shift of each doṣa in your own system. Walk away with a clear diagnostic toolkit to audit your weekly yoga classes and protect your energetic balance.

Introduction to Pranayama
Sunday September 13, 2026 10:20am - 11:20am MDT
Breath is one of the most powerful—and underutilized—tools we have for regulating the nervous system, sharpening awareness, and changing how we respond to life.

In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore several foundational pranayama practices and how they directly influence energy, mood, focus, and emotional regulation. Rather than treating breathwork as an abstract concept, we’ll look at when and why to use specific techniques—whether you’re feeling anxious, depleted, overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.

Simple, Intelligent Breath Practices
Prāṇāyāma does not need to be intimidating, esoteric, or reserved for seated workshops.
And yet, many yoga teachers either skip it entirely in asana classes or overcomplicate it to the point where students feel confused or disconnected.

This session is about practicality and discernment.

In this applied workshop, Arundhati B shares the exact prāṇāyāma practices she weaves into her movement-based classes — intelligently, safely, and with clear purpose.

You will learn:
• Which breath practices integrate naturally into asana sequences
• How to layer prāṇāyāma without disrupting class flow
• When to stimulate, when to settle, and how to read the room
• How to cue simply without diluting depth
• The difference between teaching technique and cultivating experience

This is not about adding complexity. It is about adding clarity.
Whether you are a newer teacher or seasoned educator, you will leave with practical tools you can use immediately — and a deeper confidence in guiding breath within dynamic classes.

Dynamic Stability: Teaching Yoga That Builds Resilient Joints (hyper/hypo mobility)
Sunday September 13, 2026 11:30am - 1:00pm MDT
Many yoga classes chase depth — longer holds, deeper stretches, bigger shapes. But joints don’t become more stable from hanging out at end range — they become more resilient when the muscles that support them are actively engaged and intelligently loaded.

In this workshop designed specifically for yoga instructors, we’ll explore how dynamic, muscle-driven movement builds joint stability more effectively than static holds or passive stretching alone. We’ll break down the different ways muscles support joint motion — concentrically, eccentrically, and isometrically — and why each plays a critical role in creating strength that translates off the mat.

You’ll learn how to harness the stabilizing system of the body to create practices that feel strong, adaptable, and sustainable. These tools are especially powerful for students with hypermobility, arthritis, or a history of injury — but they elevate every class you teach.

You’ll leave with practical drills, refined cueing language, and a more nuanced understanding of joint mechanics — so you can build strength inside mobility and teach in a way that develops true resilience for your students.

Yoga as Freedom Dreaming Amidst Fatigue and Possibility (Stewardship, Imagination & Sovereignty)
Sunday September 13, 2026 1:30pm - 2:30pm MDT
Fatigue and possibility live in the same individual and collective body, especially for those doing work in the name of community, justice, and liberation. This session holds space for both, moving through the world as it is and toward the world as it could be.
We'll begin by naming what decolonizing our yoga practice actually asks of us, using pricing and accessibility as a real, lived example of where extraction quietly persists, including within our own communities, where the patterns we resist elsewhere can take root.
From there, a guided somatic practice lets us feel the world as it is in the body, the weight, the fatigue, the truth of where we've been.
We'll then turn toward freedom dreaming, specific, collective imagination of the world as it could be.
Drawing on the yogic concept of sankalpa, a resolve planted and returned to, we'll move into a guided partner practice, trust and interdependence made felt, sovereign expression created and stewarded together rather than alone.
Part conversation, part embodied practice, this session is an invitation to imagine a different way of being with each other, and to honor an ancestral way of being alive together too, and what it means to be integral stewards and co-creators of our lives, and our collective times.

Beyond Busy: Move, Roll, and Restore Practice from Flow Yoga Studio
Sunday September 13, 2026 3:00pm - 4:45pm MDT
Deconstruct your stress loops and reclaim a steadier internal rhythm. Hosted in the fragrant, tranquil shade of the Lavender Pergola, this 75-minute therapeutic session focuses entirely on what a pose opens internally, rather than what it looks like on the outside.

The Three Stages of the Unwinding:
  • Mindful Movement: Slow, fluid active sequences to gently mobilize the joints and release surface-level restlessness.
  • Myofascial Release (MFR): Targeted rolling techniques to decompress bound-up connective tissues, improve blood flow, and unlock stubborn physical knots.
  • Restorative Yoga: Long-held, fully supported floor shapes paired with guided meditation to deeply soothe and regulate the nervous system.

Perfect for anyone experiencing chronic burnout, desk stiffness, or mental exhaustion. Absolutely no prior yoga experience required. Please bring a mat and extra layers for the final resting poses.
